Tips for Writing a Great Thank You Card
Despite living in a modern world where people tend to send a quick text message to communicate, most still send thank you letters. Which is something we hope never changes.
Unfortunately, because of technologies stronghold on our communication, we've lost a few skills needed to create a truly great thank you letter.
However, if you follow the 3 steps below, you're thank you letter will definitely make someones day (Who doesn't love being truly appreciated!).
Handwrite The Letter: Nothing displays thoughtfulness and intimacy in a mailed letter than a note that is written out. Taking the time to write our how you feel, really lets the reader know that you care.
Personalization: It is especially important to keep your thank you notes personalized if you are sending out many at the same time. Even if you are thanking a group of people for the same thing – wedding presents, for example – be sure to send each person an individualized message.
Take your time: Nothing is more frustrating than receiving something that is illegible or seems rushed. Avoid any embarrassing misspellings or smudges in your notes by writing them out slowly instead of rushing to get them done. Write them out on nice stationary using a fine point pen
