Paper Advice: 3 Trends for the Spring Season
Spring is around the corner, and for those like us in colder climates, it can't show up soon enough!
Besides the warmer weather, spring also brings a lot of events. And with these events comes invitations, games, thank you notes, and so much more.
Well to make sure your event is looking as fresh as the newly bloomed spring garden, we've put together a list of paper trends for the season based on event type!
Baby Shower: When it comes to invitations for baby showers, you should be on the lookout for textured and shimmering stocks of stationery. Neutral palettes will be best, as the writing will likely be in either pink or blue to note the gender of the child. Our Baby Shower Collection
Spring Menus: With spring comes outside eating and a new element to the dining experience. The classic cream look is always an excellent choice. Pair the color with easy to read font, and you have the perfect recipe for success. Thickness varies on the amount of usage (One and done, go thin / Longer lasting, go thicker). Bridal shower: "It's all about expressing your style as a couple through unexpected combinations of patterns, prints, textures and color," Jenny Kunz, head of product development at Gartner Studios, told Stationery Trends Magazine. "Clean, sophisticated designs continue to be popular, keeping the invitation itself simple, yet using typography through the use of unique fonts to convey the tone or theme of the wedding."
